After serving honorably in the U.S. Army, David (Dave) Terrell graduated, magna cum laude, from Auburn University with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Dave worked as a facilities engineer for Chevron North American Exploration and Production in offshore oil production and as a systems engineer for Lafarge Corporation.

Dave earned his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Missouri, Kansas City while working as a patent agent for Garmin International. Dave has practiced patent law for over 20 years, handling prosecution and litigation matters, with various boutique and large multi-national law firms.

Dave is admitted to the Texas Bar, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Dave is also registered to practice before the USPTO.
