Maggie Russell’s practice focuses on assisting clients in protecting their intellectual property in both U.S. and foreign jurisdictions in a variety of technical fields. Maggie concentrates on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, patent infringement and validity studies, and client counseling. Maggie advises clients in a wide array of technologies, including chemical engineering, chemistry, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, semiconductor devices, and material science.

Prior to joining Daly, Crowley, Mofford & Durkee, Maggie practiced as an associate at a major national patent law firm. Before becoming an attorney, Maggie worked as semiconductor engineer at BAE Systems.

Maggie received her Master of Science in Chemical Engineering and her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). While at WPI, Maggie was a member of the Tau Beta Pi engineering honors society and researched semiconductor devices and photoelectrochemical cells. Through her research, Maggie published two papers in the Journal of the Electrochemical Society. Maggie received her Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School. During her time at Suffolk, she was a member of the Journal of High Technology Law and published a paper on patenting medical devices.

Maggie is a member of the Connecticut state bar and is a registered patent attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. She is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Boston Patent Law Association, and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
