George counsels clients in all aspects of intellectual property, from procurement to enforcement and defense. Having been an engineer, and now a practicing intellectual property lawyer since 2004, George brings wide-ranging and complex experience into every interaction with a client or potential client. George’s practice covers a broad range of technologies, including electronics, computer hardware and software, network communications, artificial intelligence, wireless communications, telecommunications, broadcast media, medical devices, optics, imaging systems, and sporting goods, to name a few.

George’s broad skill set provides multifaceted strategy to build, strengthen, and protect the intellectual property assets of his clients. George has procured IP assets for his clients, asserted IP assets against those who have infringed on clients’ IP rights, and defended clients from accusations of infringement.

Prior to joining Daly, Crowley, Mofford & Durkee, George practiced at a large multi-national law firm where he handled all facets of patent prosecution and portfolio development. He has also litigated numerous cases in the International Trade Commission and US District Courts, as well as challenged and defended patents before the Patent Trials and Appeals Board.

George holds a Bachelor of Engineering (EE/Mathematics) from Vanderbilt University and a Juris Doctorate (JD) from Franklin Pierce Law Center (now University of New Hampshire Law School). Prior to practicing law, George was a systems engineer for a global security and aerospace company where he developed and installed air traffic control systems around the world.

George is admitted to the Massachusetts bar, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and is registered to practice before the USPTO. He is a member of the American Intellectual Properly Law Association (AIPLA) and the Boston Intellectual Properly Law Association (BIPLA).
